The transport costs amount to CHF 290.00 per participant from Chur or Bellinzona back and will be invoiced with the course price (including use of the bus of the mountain sports school, petrol, motorway tolls etc.).

Requirements
UIAA VI-, VI, VI+
Enjoy the nature and the movement in the rock. Climbing experience in difficulty level 5a with experience in lead climbing is desired. The week is also ideal for beginners or to refresh the climbing technique.
Program
We can choose from the different bays of the Calanques like Morgiou, Sormiou, Sugiton, les Goudes and others.
Imagine that you climb on the white, grippy lime, the spring or autumn sun warms your back, the slightly salty, refreshing breeze tingles on your skin and your gaze glides over rugged rocks out onto the azure blue sea ..... that is Plaisir climbing in the Calanques! In the bays of the rocky stretch of coast between Marseille and Cassis there are over 3000 routes of various lengths in all levels of difficulty.
Saturday: Meeting point at the station Chur at 8.50 am or at the station Bellinzona at 10.30 am. Take a ride on the mountain sports school bus to Cassis and move to our accommodation in the holiday resort of Shangri-La in Carnoux. Dinner in Cassis and discussion of the first day of climbing.
Sunday to Friday: Together we will set our climbing area for the day and the program. The Calanques Sormiou, Morgiou, Sugiton, Les Goudes and the area of Melette with their various climbing gardens are all worth one or more visits. The journey takes place in each case from Carnoux with the bus of the mountaineering school. The climbs are varied and varied. Climbing gardens located directly above the sea alternate with multi-pitch routes. Depending on the climbing area, a short or even shorter ascent takes us through a wild and intact natural landscape to our dream rocks. After climbing, we refresh ourselves with a swim in the sea and / or enjoy a pastis and a fine ice cream in the bistros of Cassis, Callelongue, Marseille or in the bays of the Calanques. In the evening we visit the restaurants in the port or in the town of Cassis or in the hinterland of the Calanques.
Saturday: After breakfast and tidying up the accommodation, we start our journey home to Switzerland. Arrival in Bellinzona and Chur during the afternoon. End of the climbing week and individual journey home.
In addition to visiting the most rewarding climbing areas, we do not completely forget the training. During the week we deal with various topics such as abseiling, securing, setting up a pitch, improving the individual climbing technique etc. After climbing we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful town of Cassis or to relax while bathing.
