Very good alpine skier, ski tour experience, great experience in climbing crampons and climbing in the 2nd degree of difficulty, condition for ascents between 5 to 7 hours, for the Dufourspitze also more.

Program

Breithorn, Ludwigshöhe, Dufourspitze, Gross Fillarhorn or Torre di Castelfranco Day 1: Meeting point at 08.15 at the valley station of the aerial cable car Zermatt - Matterhorn glacier paradise. Travel by train to the Klein Matterhorn, 3883 m, and ascent via the normal route to the Breithorn, 4164 m. Departure to the Schwarztor, 3731 m, and continue on the impressive Black Glacier on the Gorner Glacier. Climb to the new Monte Rosa hut, 2883 m. 800 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 5 hours 2nd day: Day trip to the Ludwigshöhe, 4341 m. The climb over the Grenzgletscher, past the foot of the mighty north face of the Liskamm, leads us to the Lisjoch and on to the ski depot at the foot of the summit. On foot, we follow the ridge in a few minutes directly to the summit. Descent to the ski depot and descent over 1400 meters back to the hut. 1450 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 5 to 6 hours 3rd day: King tour on the Dufourspitze, 4634 m. The ascent leads over the Monte Rosa glacier and the saddle tents to the saddle at 4359 m. On foot we climb over the long west ridge, garnished with climbing posts and airy steps, directly to the summit. Descent on the same route back to the ski depot. Descent over 1700 meters back to the hut! 1800 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 7 hours Day 4: Final tour of the Great Fillarhorn, 3676 m or the Torre di Castelfranco, 3623 m. Departure via the Stockhornpass and the Findel Glacier to the station Gant and by train to Blauherd. Short descent on the slopes to Sunnegga. Travel by train to Zermatt, completion of the tour and individual journey home. 1200 meters in altitude, ascent time approx. 5 hours Please start exercising early for this ski touring tour, we are over 4000 meters above sea level every day, and the daily march performance is between 5 to 7 hours or more. If you can not arrive on the first day, we will gladly organize an overnight stay in the modern youth hostel in Zermatt or at the Hotel Bahnhof.
